Dear Judy,

    I am planning my wedding for September 2010 and I am trying to choose entertainment for my guests who can I reccomend?

Hello Kelly,

   Well, of course everything depends on your budget.  If you are trying to plan on a tight budget you can find a Dj for around 600-700 dollars for an entire evening.  I have worked with several all over East Texas most are fine.  Just be sure to go over your itenerary with the Dj so he know when and what to play.

   If you can afford a band this is the best choice.  Guests almost always stay longer, dance more and seem to have an overall better time when there's a live band .   If you are spending 20 thousand dollars (or more) on one day you want guests to stay a while.  Some Brides will also choose to hire a toastmaster to keep things moving.

 I usually call Haley Harper at Absolute Entertainment in Dallas.  She will take care of everything and find a great band in your budget.  I hope this is Helpful.
